# Introduction

Frontier markets are template-based isolated lending markets for correlated assets. Following the successful launch of the inaugural Frontier markets, we are seeking to establish a formal process for community requests. We invite the community to **submit requests in this thread by using the template below**.

Frontier markets are isolated vaults without active governance and risk management. Deploying a Frontier market does not imply endorsement or a vote of confidence in the project. Users are prompted to do their own research and risk assessment before interacting with the markets. Submitting a community request does not guarantee deployment. Deployments may be delayed or postponed due to multiple reasons.

# Specification

Before submitting a proposal, **get familiar with the [design goals](https://forum.euler.finance/t/frontier-markets-risk-isolated-looping-vaults/1405) and specification:**

1. Frontier markets are isolated correlated lending markets with the following vault structure:
  - One blue-chip vault (USDC, WBTC, WETH or a native gas token such as WAVAX)
  - Primary ecosystem vault (stablecoin, RWA, BTC wrapper, LST)
  - Derivative ecosystem vaults (staked version, tranche token, Pendle/Spectra/Napier PTs)

2. Frontier vaults configure one of two categories of loan-to-value ratios: 90/91% and 94/95%.
  - 91% LTV for pairs containing the blue-chip vault (e.g. USDxyz/USDC and USDC/USDxyz)
  - 95% LTV for all other pairs
  - Derivative vaults are borrowable only by their PTs
  - PT vaults are collateral-only

3. Frontier vaults have no supply or borrow caps.
4. Frontier vaults follow this guideline for oracles.
  - Hardcoded oracle for the blue-chip vault
  - Hardcoded or fundamental oracle for ecosystem assets and their derivatives
  - TWAP or linear discount oracle for Pendle PTs

5. Frontier vaults use [`IRMAdaptiveCurve`](https://github.com/euler-xyz/evk-periphery/blob/master/src/IRM/IRMAdaptiveCurve.sol) interest rate models. These models are designed to run autonomously. Their initial parameters are chosen at deployment based on the economic characteristics of each asset. Example parameters (non-exhaustive):

### Additional Context

hwHLP represents a unique opportunity for Euler to tap into Hyperliquid’s ecosystem through a yield-bearing representation of HLP positions. The token:

1. Generates native yield from Hyperliquid’s trading fees, liquidations, and market-making activities
2. Enables cross-chain composability with bridge functionality between Ethereum and HyperEVM
3. Supported by multiple oracle providers including Pyth Network and Redstone Finance for reliable price feeds

The proposed Frontier Market would enable:

- Leveraged exposure to HLP and PT-HLP yield through USDT borrowing
- Capital efficiency for hwHLP holders who can borrow against their positions

The market would follow standard Frontier specifications with:

- 88% LTV for hwHLP/USDT pairs
- Hardcoded oracle for USDT
- Fundamental oracle for hwHLP using Redstone Finance’s price feed on Ethereum

The point incentive structure (1x on hwHLP collateral, 3x on USDT supply/borrow) is designed to bootstrap both sides of the market, encouraging USDT liquidity provision while rewarding hwHLP holders for participating in the lending ecosystem.
