Adding rETH to Euler Prime market

Greetings Euler community!

I’m Grant, ecosystem lead for Rocket Pool. https://rocketpool.net/ We’ve been chatting with members of your team and want to propose adding rETH as an asset for Euler Prime. We believe that this would be a significant benefit to both of our respective communities.

Rocket Pool is a permissionless, decenralised ethereum staking protocol. The protocol has over 700,000 ETH staked on mainnet Ethereum, using over 3,000 independant node operators spread across the globe. Rocket Pool’s LST --rETH-- has a market cap of approximately $2Bn USD. Rocket Pool ETH price today, RETH to USD live price, marketcap and chart | CoinMarketCap

In recent weeks, we have made significant upgrades to the protocol that will allow our TVL to grow substantially in the future. We were somewhat hindered for the last year or so with our ETH deposit pool being capped as we waited for more node operators to come online. rETH minting slowed significantly as a result, as liquid stakers were sent to secondary markets. We are very happy to report that we are no longer constrained in this regard.

We’d be happy to discuss more in detail of how this would work if there is interest from the Euler community. Thank you for your consideration!

Interesting proposal, and one that I am broadly supportive of. How would you price for the additional risk inherent to adding rETH to prime? How would you compensate that risk?

Thanks for the response! Rocket Pool has been thoroughly audited with each new release and we particiapate in an aggressive bug bounty program. Details here: Rocket Pool - Decentralised Ethereum Liquid Staking Protocol
Hopefully that helps!
