Alphaday is a powerful crypto workflow aggregator that pulls in news, on-chain data, social media, web3 services and much more into one customizable UI.

Benefits
Market research we conducted in 2021 concluded that crypto users are overwhelmed with information and spend a lot of time jumping from one news source to another, from one social site to another, and usually have dozens of tabs open to stay up to date with everything happening in a community.
Alphaday helps solve the issue of information fragmentation. We aim to serve as a central point where any user (whether they are a developer, enthusiast, investor) can instantly get the Euler Finance information they need.
In general, users who can track their favorite project more easily, stay engaged with the project which in turn supports user retention. Alphaday can also be used as an onboarding tool for newcomers since it aggregates all relevant project-specific data into one dashboard for visibility and ease of access.
User Metrics and potential impact on Euler Finance
We currently have ~10,000 MAU active users (organic) with minimal resources spent on marketing; our roadmap for 2024-25 is focused on marketing a lot more. Average session time per user is 9 minutes and retention rate across 1/7/30 days is 56%/53%/50% as measured by Hotjar. Top countries: USA 18%, Germany 7% Nigeria 6% Turkey 6%, UK 5%.
In terms of numbers, considering Euler Finance has ~50K twitter followers and using this as a very crude proxy for community size, we would consider it a success if we could serve a modest 1% of them on a monthly basis (~500 MAU) as a start.
Competition
We do not have direct competitors who are competing in the experience aggregator space but our individual widgets do overlap with features offered by Dune, Nansen, Zapper/Zerion, Coingecko, Discord, DeFiLama, Snapshot.
Bear in mind that the above are feeding data to Alphaday itself.
We are aiming to be the de facto homepage for all crypto users. People using Alphaday to stay up to date with their favourite crypto projects, listen to podcasts, do research, participate in discussions and much more. Other competitors are all competing within much narrower niches. We get their services and integrate them into our app so users don’t have to jump from one service to another, it’s all available on Alphaday.
Tech Stack
Alphaday is a React-Typescript dashboard on the frontend using a Python-Django backend built on distributed infrastructure with Postgres and Redis Databases.
Data importation is automated through RSS feeds and APIs; this refers to widgets such as Discord, News, Market price, Reddit, Podcasts, Videos, Latest Video, TVL, Blog, Forum, and DAO (Snapshot).
Other widgets such as Hiring Directory/Career, Events in Calendar, Documentation, Links, etc. are manually created and updated.
Deliverables and Milestones
Milestone 1: Development & Deployment
We would like to create a Euler Finance ecosystem dashboard that aggregates the following information into a single community dashboard:

The latest Euler Finance official announcements and blog post content.

A feed of all news mentions of Euler Finance from coindesk, cointelegraph and 20+ other news sources aggregated from across the internet.

A calendar containing all Euler Finance events including meetups, conferences, hackathons with bounties, AMAs.

Podcast feed featuring Euler Finance/EUL.

Youtube stream containing educational Euler Finance content.

Euler Docs directory.

Integration with Euler Finance Forum to show the latest and trending discussion topics.

Discord integration to show a feed of latest discussions.

FAQ, Litepaper, EVK Whitepaper, EVC Whitepaper, EUL tokenomics information.

Live EUL spot price chart.

Developer tools, guides, grants & bounties, Euler Labs Careers email, documentation, and any other resources that can help developers build on Euler Finance.

Links and descriptions of products and services offered in the Euler Finance ecosystem (primarily the Euler app for now, and expand the list from there).
We should be able to build and deploy the above dashboard within 2 months so if this grant is approved we want to launch the Euler Finance dashboard by November 2024 (tentatively).
Once the dashboard is finalized, we publish it and start marketing the dashboard, get feedback, and reiterate the dashboard accordingly.
Milestone 2: Maintenance and Curation
Maintenance primarily entails:

Changes in APIs or RSS feeds need to be updated on a regular basis.

News sources or other content sources to be added or removed.

Manually import data, such as upcoming events, that are not picked up by the Alphaday aggregator engine.

New developments or integrations, and quality assurance/testing of new features and widgets.
This milestone has no due date and is indefinite.
Budget Breakdown
1,500 USD (or equivalent in EUL) upfront costs for development and deployment of the dashboard. Marketing of the dashboard is included here.
1,500 USD (or equivalent in EUL) for maintenance including having an Alphaday content analyst quality-checking the dashboard routinely and applying requested or other changes.

Workflow
Typically, our workflow is as below:

Our team creates a list of all the sources of information relevant to the Euler Finance ecosystem (we usually collect 30+ sources including official blog posts, social media, discussion forums, podcasts, etc).

We build a draft dashboard that is composed of the widgets we think best serve the Euler Finance community based on our experience building for other projects.

We share the dashboard with the Euler Finance community and/or team and we collect feedback.

We change & iterate based on the feedback and once we get final approval from the community and/or team we publish it.

We engage in social marketing campaigns to promote the dashboard.

We continue to maintain, curate, and develop the dashboard continuously.

We have just recently released a new mobile app version of Alphaday. The dashboard will be available on the desktop version, and the mobile app will automatically filter the ‘superfeed’ based on each project’s url; e.g. ‘/b/euler’ would direct users to the Alphaday superfeed page and automatically filter it for Euler Finance.
